- US in Depth, 1 upper level 300-400 level class with A letter (exceptions for other US focused classes in topics courses) Common courses offered: HIST-A307, HIST-A375, HIST-A382. Online classes with different numbers acceptable, but not preferred.
- Supports Standard 2 and 3 and contributes to greater preparation for Standard 5
- World in Depth, 2 300-400 level non-US courses, only 1 can be on a European topic (i.e. have a B or D letter). History/Political Science Dual Degree Program
The History/Political Science program works cooperatively with the School of Education to administer a dual degree program in History/Political Science-Secondary Education. Students participating in this program will complete both a Bachelor of Science in History/Political Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree. Students in this program will be certified to teach at the secondary school level with expertise in both History and Government.
